ae-agent — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
This skill controls AE Agent resources through ae-cli, including agents, MCP servers, skills, approvals, and user memory. Use it for Agent platform operations.
npx skills add ThinkingAIAgenticEngine/ae-cli --skill ae-agent -a claude-codeWhat ae-agent does
ae-agent gives an AI coding tool a command layer for the AE Agent platform. It covers agents, models, MCP servers, skills, attachments, resource-package import and export, Agent market browsing, approval requests, archived conversations, and user memory.
Resource actions use ae-cli agent +<command> [options]; memory actions use ae-cli memory +<command> [options]. The CLI supports JSON or table output, host selection, dry runs, and confirmation bypasses. A reference file under references/ must be read before each matching command, and record IDs must come from +list-* discovery commands. High-risk writes require explicit user authorization.
What it helps with
- manage agents, models, and MCP servers
- browse resources in the Agent market
- handle approval requests and approval tasks
- move resources through import and export packages
- save user memory and restore archived conversations
Example prompts for the agent
- List the available agents and show the result as a table.
- Find the MCP servers, then preview the requested operation with
--dry-run. - Store this user preference in AgentSpace memory.
