ae-analysis-global — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Directs analytical queries across physical database shards and multi-cluster setups in ae-cli. Prevents confusing data nodes with audience segments.
npx skills add ThinkingAIAgenticEngine/ae-cli --skill ae-analysis-global -a claude-codeWhat ae-analysis-global does
This skill operates as a routing layer on top of ae-analysis. It explicitly distinguishes physical infrastructure shards from marketing user groups. Whenever a prompt mentions regions, country nodes, or deployment servers, the agent inspects active endpoints via ae-cli analysis query-cluster list --project-id <project_id>.
For reports and ad-hoc executions, routing relies on --cluster-query-scope GLOBAL|SLAVE. Selecting SLAVE demands an explicit --slave-cluster-id. The GLOBAL scope applies solely when cross-cluster aggregation is requested and server permissions explicitly allow it.
Direct SQL queries and attribution analysis reject the GLOBAL parameter. In those workflows, the agent must stick to the local instance or pick an authorized SLAVE route, because server-side checks will fail otherwise.
What it helps with
- route analytical queries across multi-cluster database shards
- retrieve available query clusters for a specific project ID
- target a specific secondary node using
--slave-cluster-id - stop invalid
GLOBALscope calls in raw SQL and attribution runs
Example prompts for the agent
- List all query clusters available for project 105
- Run this dashboard report targeting the slave cluster shard_eu_2
- Fetch cross-cluster metrics using GLOBAL scope if my permissions permit it

Questions about ae-analysis-global
How to install ae-analysis-global in Claude Code?
Run npx skills add ThinkingAIAgenticEngine/ae-cli --skill ae-analysis-global -a claude-code. The skill specification will be placed in ~/.claude/skills/ae-analysis-global/SKILL.md.
What does ae-analysis-global do?
It guides the agent to correctly route ae-cli data queries to physical clusters or slave nodes instead of mistaking them for audience cohorts.
Does ae-analysis-global allow GLOBAL queries for SQL reports?
No, SQL queries and attribution runs reject the GLOBAL scope. They require using the local host or a designated SLAVE cluster.
