Yapitalism — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Controls terminal coding agents through voice and verifies execution using verifiable terminal receipts. Built for working away from your display.
claude mcp add yapitalism -- uvx yapitalismWhat Yapitalism does
This local MCP server bridges voice clients to CLI coding tools such as claude, codex, kimi, or opencode. Connections run over loopback at 127.0.0.1:48900 or attach directly to tmux panes. Before dispatching keystrokes, it checks the active process tree. If an agent exits into an open shell, the server halts submission immediately to stop accidental command execution.
Verification relies on explicit markers rather than basic HTTP status codes. A GREEN verdict requires the target agent to echo a distinct token back to the terminal. If characters land in an input buffer without proof of handling, the server returns YELLOW. Terminal spinner updates or log streams do not count as proof. Through pane_await, it identifies whether a turn concluded, timed out, or halted on an authentication dialog.
HTTP write access stays blocked out of the box. Unlocking it requires running yapitalism authority allow-http-writes on the host machine. Without tmux or a running Superset service, window automation will fail.
What it helps with
- track terminal agent status without looking at the monitor
- catch processes stuck on login prompts or permission gates
- prevent typing commands into raw shells after an agent crashes
- distinguish completed agent turns from unsubmitted input prompts
Example prompts for the agent
- Check the current tmux agent state using
pane_await - Dispatch the test suite command via
pane_taskand check for a GREEN verdict - List existing terminal sessions with
panes_list

Questions about Yapitalism
How do I install Yapitalism in Claude Code?
Run this command in your terminal: claude mcp add yapitalism -- uvx yapitalism.
What does the Yapitalism MCP server do?
It connects voice interfaces to terminal coding agents running inside tmux or Superset. It evaluates receipts so spoken summaries never claim a task finished when text was merely typed into an idle prompt.
How can I enable write actions over HTTP?
HTTP write operations are off by default. To enable them, run yapitalism authority allow-http-writes in your terminal.
