opentalk2html-notmd — Claude Code MCP server: HTML instead of markdown
An MCP server that has your AI agent build reports, dashboards and invoices as real HTML pages rather than dumping markdown at you.
claude mcp add opentalk2html-notmd -- npx -y @aimino/opentalk2html-notmdWhat opentalk2html-notmd does
The server hands the agent a set of HTML tools. render_page assembles a page from components and a template, register_template adds your own template at runtime, while patch_html and set_attribute change content and attributes through a CSS selector. edit_html_range swaps lines when you want the cheapest edit. Reading goes through read_html in four modes; write_raw_html, format_html and preview_html cover drafts. Two more tools, render_email and html_to_email, turn pages into email-safe markup.
It ships 22 components: header, footer, sidebar, card-deck, grid, plus data-table, financial-table, stats-grid, timeline, risk-matrix, valuation-chart, figure and tabs. Call list_components or list_templates to see what is available, and get_template_schema for a template's variables. Cross-references stay in sync via propagate_edit and check_consistency.
Startup is a single npx call. No browser or Playwright on the server side. Each client gets its own config shape: Claude and Codex take an mcp add command, Cursor and GitHub Copilot take a JSON block under mcpServers or servers.
What it helps with
- turn a quarter's numbers into a report with tables and badges
- build a dashboard with metrics and a valuation chart
- produce a client-ready invoice page
- edit one section by CSS selector without rewriting the file
- audit a document for stale cross-references
Example prompts for the agent
- Build a quarterly report page with a revenue table and a stats block
- Turn these numbers into a dashboard and add a valuation chart
- Convert this page into email-safe HTML that survives an inbox
