The repository holds server.json, Xweather's entry in the official MCP Registry. Maintainers bump the version, then run mcp-publisher validate and mcp-publisher publish; publishing needs DNS-based auth for xweather.com. That side of the project only matters if you are editing the listing.
Every supported client points at the same URL. Cursor and GitHub Copilot take a JSON block, the rest register the server with a single add command.
