What Waggle does

Waggle connects Claude Code to a directory of agents that implement A2A. Its MCP tools search by capability, fetch details for a selected agent, and submit tasks. You can also check the status of work that runs asynchronously.

The server can submit an agent URL for indexing and show API usage; rating an interaction does not use API quota. Setup requires a Waggle API key stored in the WAGGLE_API_KEY environment variable. Without that key, the server cannot be configured. The free tier allows 100 requests per day and 10 per minute.

What it helps with

  • find an A2A agent by capability
  • inspect a specific agent before using it
  • send a task to an agent and check its progress
  • submit an agent URL for indexing
  • check API quota usage

Example prompts for the agent

  • Find an A2A agent that can convert time zones.
  • Locate an agent for weather forecasts and send it this task.
  • Add my A2A agent at https://my-agent.example.com to the directory.
