Jobo Job Search — Claude Code MCP server: job search
Search Jobo’s current job index and retrieve listings through an AI client. Use it to narrow vacancies by location, work setup, skills, and other filters.
claude mcp add --transport http job-search https://jobs-mcp.jobo.world/mcpWhat Jobo Job Search does
This MCP server gives AI clients access to Jobo’s index of jobs gathered from employer career sites and ATS platforms. Use search_jobs for structured queries, with filters such as location, work model, employment type, experience, skills, salary, and date. list_filters provides accepted filter values and live counts.
The search and fetch tools follow the contract used by Deep Research: one finds listings, the other returns their text. For a full listing, call get_job_details; raw description text is available with include_description: true. The server uses HTTP and OAuth sign-in through a Jobo account, with the jobs:read scope. A Jobo account is required.
In Claude Code, connect to the hosted service with the command in the FAQ. To run a local copy, use npx jobo-job-search-mcp; local hosting still relies on Jobo sign-in. Requests carry the client’s current token, and expired tokens are rejected, so the client must refresh them.
What it helps with
- search vacancies by location and skills
- filter listings by employment type and experience
- check accepted values for search filters
- retrieve vacancy text for Deep Research
Example prompts for the agent
- Find developer jobs in Berlin with a remote work model and show salary filters.
- Search for roles requiring Python and PostgreSQL, then filter by experience level.
- Fetch the full listing text for this vacancy for Deep Research.
