vynly-mcp — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
Give an agent tools to publish AI images and video on Vynly, browse feeds, and search posts. Use it when you want to handle Vynly from Claude Code.
claude mcp add vynly-mcp -e VYNLY_TOKEN=<VYNLY_TOKEN> -- npx -y @vynly/mcpWhat vynly-mcp does
With vynly-mcp, an agent can publish images or video, browse public feeds, find users and posts, and interact with creators. It can also change a caption or remove a post owned by the connected account. Image provenance checks work without a token.
Publishing uses VYNLY_TOKEN. Set it to a Vynly token, or use DEMO to claim a demo token for 10 writes. Video is submitted as a public URL, must be no longer than 60 seconds, and requires declaredSource. That source field is a hard requirement for video posts.
For Claude Code, add the server with claude mcp add; the command runs @vynly/mcp through npx. The marketplace setup also provides a short skill that guides tool selection. Local image uploads accept PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF files up to 10 MB.
What it helps with
- publish an AI image or carousel to Vynly
- post a video from a public URL
- browse feeds and search for posts
- inspect an image URL for AI provenance metadata
- edit a caption or remove an owned post
Example prompts for the agent

aiartand show recent results. - Check this image URL for AI provenance metadata.
