trust-check-mcp — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Screens crypto wallets against the US Treasury OFAC SDN sanctions list via streamable HTTP. Built for AI agents operating on Base without API keys.
claude mcp add --transport http trust-check-mcp https://trust.paladinfi.com/mcpWhat trust-check-mcp does
The server connects over Streamable HTTP. It provides three tools: trust_check_ofac_free for live address lookups, trust_check_preview for sample fixtures, and trust_check_health for uptime. Sanctions records refresh daily from the US Treasury XML feed.
All responses include an Ed25519 signature. The tool is strictly read-only. It never signs transactions or executes contract calls. Traffic is capped at one request per second per IP address. Relying on trust_check_preview for production guardrails will fail because its signals are mock fixtures.
What it helps with
- screen Base wallet addresses against the OFAC SDN list
- verify sanctions data freshness via Ed25519 response signatures
- test agent compliance flows using mock payload fixtures
Example prompts for the agent
- Check if wallet 0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913 is listed on OFAC SDN.
- Run
trust_check_healthto verify the latest sanctions list update timestamp.
