What Tripsy does

The server exposes structured tools for the public Tripsy API to language models. Assistants can create trips, log flight details, schedule activities, record dining expenses, and link tickets to transport entries.

Workflows can interact with the hosted endpoint at https://mcp.tripsy.app or use the local tripsy-mcp executable. Credentials default to the operating system keychain, while automated setups can supply a token directly through TRIPSY_TOKEN.

Subresources strictly depend on a trip identifier. If an agent tries to log lodging or an activity without a valid trip ID, the request fails.

What it helps with

  • Create trip itineraries with target dates, timezones, and covers
  • Register hotel stays, flights, and scheduled activities
  • Track vacation spending in specific currencies
  • Attach boarding passes and files to transport bookings

Example prompts for the agent

  • Create a trip to Rome from June 1 to June 15, 2026 in timezone Europe/Rome
  • Add Hotel Eden to trip 42 from June 1 to June 5
  • Log a dinner expense of 78.5 EUR on June 3 for trip 42
