The server links MCP clients to the Gong.io platform. It pulls call metadata, speaker-attributed transcripts, and meeting summaries. You can also search conversations by company domain or CRM opportunity.
The search_calls tool auto-paginates up to 50 API pages and applies filters locally. To prevent filling the context window, it caps output via MAX_MCP_OUTPUT_LENGTH (set to 50000 characters by default) and falls back to a condensed table whenever the response gets too heavy.
You need Node.js 18+ or Docker to run it, along with Gong API credentials passed via GONG_ACCESS_KEY and GONG_ACCESS_KEY_SECRET. Without Gong admin access to generate an API key under company settings, the server cannot authenticate.
