What TradingMCP does

This MCP server fetches public market data for stocks, crypto, forex, and futures. Ask it to screen markets, analyze an asset across timeframes, or backtest a strategy. Its output is informational, not financial advice, and it does not execute trades.

In Claude Code, connect to the hosted HTTP server with claude mcp add --transport http tradingview-mcp https://mcp.tradingmcp.ai/mcp. You do not need a TradingView account or API key; the server does not log in to or automate TradingView. If your workflow depends on controlling the TradingView Desktop interface, this server will not do that.

What it helps with

  • screen crypto markets for top gainers
  • review an asset’s technical indicators
  • compare trends across timeframes
  • backtest an RSI strategy on historical data

Example prompts for the agent

  • Show today's top crypto gainers on Binance.
  • Run a technical analysis of NVDA.
