Taisly Social Media Posting — Claude Code MCP server: install and use
Publishes short-form video to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, and Facebook through Taisly directly from an agent.
claude mcp add --transport http agent https://app.taisly.com/mcpWhat Taisly Social Media Posting does
This server bridges AI agents with the Taisly video delivery API. Instead of writing custom adapters for each social network, your agent drafts captions, verifies channels using taisly_platforms_list, and submits the file. The workflow tracks publishing progress through the returned historyId.
Two setup methods are available. The remote endpoint runs at https://app.taisly.com/mcp using OAuth authentication. Alternatively, the local stdio runner executes @taisly/agent via Node.js, authenticating either through browser login or the TAISLY_API_KEY environment variable.
Social accounts must be linked in Taisly beforehand. If an account is not connected in the Taisly dashboard, the server cannot route video uploads to it.
What it helps with
- publish short-form video clips across multiple networks simultaneously
- inspect linked accounts with
taisly_platforms_list - track post delivery status using
historyId - avoid building custom publishing integrations for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
Example prompts for the agent
- List my connected social media accounts through Taisly.
- Post
clip.mp4to TikTok and Instagram Reels with the caption 'Quick demo'. - Check the upload status for my latest
historyIdrecord.
