socialclaw — Claude Code MCP server: post scheduling
Wires your agent to social accounts through a hosted service: schedule, publish, inspect. Needs a workspace key and an active plan.
claude mcp add socialclaw -e SOCIALCLAW_API_KEY=<SOCIALCLAW_API_KEY> -- npx -y socialclawWhat socialclaw does
socialclaw is an MCP server that hands your agent 17 publishing tools tied to the accounts in your workspace: list accounts and their capabilities, upload media, validate and preview a schedule, apply it with idempotency keys, publish drafts, and inspect posts, attempts, runs, analytics, usage and workspace health. Everything runs against the hosted SocialClaw service, not on your machine.
The server starts with npx -y socialclaw mcp. Your key goes in through SOCIALCLAW_API_KEY. Ran socialclaw login --api-key <key> earlier? Then the saved credentials are picked up and the env block can be dropped. A key by itself won't get you far: the workspace also needs an active trial or paid plan, or commands come back with plan_required or subscription_*.
Account connections use browser OAuth, except Discord and Telegram, which are wired by hand — a webhook URL for one, a bot token plus chat-id for the other. Schedules are accepted as JSON or YAML. The package installs globally with npm install -g socialclaw, or as an agent skill via npx skills add ndesv21/socialclaw.
What it helps with
- queue posts to several networks from one schedule file
- upload an image and attach it to a post
- catch schedule errors before anything goes out
- check how a published post was delivered
- remove a published post on the provider side
Example prompts for the agent
- List my connected accounts and what each one supports
- Validate
schedule.jsonand show me the campaign preview - Upload
./image.pngand queue a post with it
