Synorb — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Supplies AI agents with structured context from SEC filings, corporate news, and central bank reports. Helpful for market research and fact-checking.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.synorb.com/mcpWhat Synorb does
The service runs as a hosted Streamable HTTP endpoint, so there are no local runtime environments or packages to build. It transforms raw company updates, regulatory filings, central bank speeches, and economic research into structured briefs called Manifests. Each record includes extractable claims, metadata tags, and direct source URLs.
Built-in tools let clients query coverage using synorb-stream-search, explore available feeds, and configure recurring query trackers called Beacons. Agents can draft a Beacon from a plain-English prompt and save it to the user profile.
Stream discovery and catalog browsing work without credentials. However, pulling actual Manifest contents via synorb-manifests consumes monthly account quota and fails if the Authorization header lacks a valid key.
What it helps with
- fetch recent 8-K filings and financial disclosures for public firms
- track central bank statements and monetary policy publications
- verify agent answers using claims backed by original source links
- configure automated Beacons to follow specific corporate developments
Example prompts for the agent
- Which streams cover NVIDIA in Synorb?
- Show the latest 8-K filings for Apple with direct links.
- What did the Federal Reserve publish recently? Include cited sources.
