stablecoin-yield — Claude Code MCP server: setup and tools
Supplies real-time stablecoin yields, pool risk evaluation, and ready-to-sign deposit calldata. Built for AI agents navigating DeFi protocols.
claude mcp add --transport http stablecoin-yield https://mcp.barker.money/mcpWhat stablecoin-yield does
The server exposes a remote streamable-http endpoint at https://mcp.barker.money/mcp. It groups 12 tools across three distinct tiers: raw market telemetry, algorithmic pool assessment with risk flagging, and non-custodial transaction builders. Agents can inspect ERC-4626 vault balances, query APY histories spanning 7 to 180 days, and benchmark returns against US Treasuries.
Execution stays non-custodial. The server never touches user keys and cannot broadcast transactions to the mempool. It returns raw calldata ({chainId, to, data, value}), requiring the host agent or user wallet to verify and sign. Minted vault shares always belong to the transaction signer, and cross-chain execution within a single step is not supported.
Every tool call incurs a micropayment handled through the x402 standard, priced between $0.001 and $0.05. Without an x402 payment header, the endpoint replies with HTTP 402. You need an automated buyer client funded with USDC or USDT0 on chains like Base, Arbitrum, or Polygon to query the remote tools.
What it helps with
- Fetch ranked stablecoin yields across multiple chains and protocols
- Compare protocol APY trends against US Treasury benchmarks
- Generate unsigned calldata for ERC-4626 vault deposits
- Audit pool health and underlying fee structures before allocating capital
Example prompts for the agent
- List the highest-yielding USDC vaults on Arbitrum right now
- Show historical APY trends for Morpho vaults over the last 30 days
- Build an unsigned deposit quote for 1000 USDC into the selected pool

Questions about stablecoin-yield
How do I install stablecoin-yield in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http stablecoin-yield https://mcp.barker.money/mcp in your CLI. No sign-up or local API keys are needed to connect.
What does stablecoin-yield do?
It provides real-time stablecoin yield metrics, risk scoring, and generates unsigned transaction payloads for ERC-4626 deposits or withdrawals.
How does tool payment work?
Calls are billed individually via the x402 protocol, priced from $0.001 to $0.05 in USDC or USDT0. Unpaid requests trigger an HTTP 402 challenge that your agent client must settle before receiving data.
