Sightkick — Claude Code MCP server: AI visibility and SEO
Tracks how ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews answer buyer questions, and gives your agent tools for keywords, articles and publishing.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://app.sightkick.so/mcpWhat Sightkick does
This is a hosted service. The endpoint is https://app.sightkick.so/mcp, it speaks streamable HTTP, and there is no source tree to run. Connecting takes one command that registers the remote server with your agent.
The tool catalog covers reading and writing. An agent can pull the mention summary per engine, the tracked prompt panel, the pages AI answers cite, and the gaps where rivals get named and the site does not. Search Console clicks, impressions and positions come from the same place, along with a scored keyword pool, live SERPs including People Also Ask, article drafts, a publishing calendar, and edits to pages already live. Destructive calls are marked and need explicit confirmation.
No API key is involved. The first call triggers an OAuth 2.1 sign-in, and the grant covers exactly one site, so an agent on another workspace cannot reach your data. Publishing goes to whatever CMS is connected, and each write lands in the activity feed tagged with the OAuth client behind it. Agent access ships with paid plans.
What it helps with
- spot answers where competitors appear and your brand does not
- check actual clicks and rankings from Search Console
- find long-tail keywords around a topic
- put articles on a publishing calendar
- change a live page and measure the effect
Example prompts for the agent
- Give me the visibility summary across engines and the gaps where competitors are named
- Research keywords around our CRM integration and save them to the pool
- Draft an article on that topic and score it on all four pillars

Questions about Sightkick
How do I install Sightkick in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http sightkick https://app.sightkick.so/mcp. On the first tool call you get an OAuth sign-in screen with a workspace selector.
What does Sightkick do?
It combines AI answer visibility, keyword research, article writing and publishing, and backlink tracking in one workspace. The MCP server exposes that work to your agent as tools.
Do I need an API key?
No. Sign-in happens over OAuth 2.1, one grant binds to one website, and every write is attributed in the activity feed.
