Shipfound — Claude Code MCP server: site growth and indexing
Turns your coding agent into a growth engineer: access audit, site fixes and content as pull requests, Google and Bing indexing, bot visit tracking.
claude mcp add --transport http shipfound https://api.shipfound.co/mcpWhat Shipfound does
Shipfound runs as a remote MCP server and hands the agent a set of routines. The first is /shipfound:audit: it checks what you can reach — repo, hosting, Search Console, Bing, Gmail, Reddit, X, GitHub, tracking, assets — and runs a first visibility baseline. After that each day starts with /shipfound:grow, which reads what changed, what is due for verification and what still fails on the live site, then offers one move with its price. The same move never comes twice in a row, and a declined one waits a week.
Changes arrive as pull requests. /shipfound:fix sets up tracking first, then ships site fixes one theme per PR. /shipfound:write <type> opens a PR with a glossary, comparison, alternatives or long-form page. /shipfound:convert reads your home page the way a first-time visitor does and follows every button to signup and payment, stopping before any form. The server checks each result itself and marks it Verified or Claimed.
Sign-in happens once per machine: the first command opens a browser page where you pick your site and allow access. The device secret sits in the macOS Keychain, elsewhere in ~/.config/shipfound/device. For CI or a browserless machine you need a key from the app settings; it starts with wl_ and carries a daily credit cap. Codex has no slash commands, so you ask for routines in words and call the skill by name with $shipfound:shipfound.
What it helps with
- see which services the agent can actually reach
- ship glossary and comparison pages as pull requests
- get pages indexed on Google and Bing
- track when GPTBot, PerplexityBot and ClaudeBot read your pages
- check whether a visitor can get from the home page to payment
Example prompts for the agent
- Run the Shipfound audit in my site repo
- What should I do today?
- Write a glossary page about webhooks and open a PR

Questions about Shipfound
How do I install Shipfound in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http shipfound https://api.shipfound.co/mcp, then open a new session in your site's repo and run /shipfound:audit. The first command walks you through browser sign-in.
What does Shipfound do?
It audits access and visibility, fixes the site and ships content as pull requests, and watches indexing plus how search bots read your pages. Every result is checked by the server and labelled Verified or Claimed.
What do I need to run it without a browser?
An API key from the Shipfound app settings, starting with wl_, which carries a daily credit cap. You pass it as a header instead of signing in through OAuth.
