What Panel Review does

Panel Review adds MCP tools for code review through TruVerifAI. The description says four models assess changes; the agent sends material for review when it calls a tool. This can help when you want another analysis of a diff or commit before submitting it.

The separate @truverifai/init package installs local gates for risky edits and commits. Those gates need Node 18+ and Python 3; without either runtime, they will not run. The installer previews its planned changes and writes files only after confirmation. Use doctor, gates on, and gates off to check the setup and control the gates.

What it helps with

  • review a diff before submitting changes
  • check a risky commit before publishing it
  • add local gates for automatic checks on edits and commits

Example prompts for the agent

  • Review this diff with TruVerifAI and point out risky changes.
  • Check this commit before I submit it, and explain any issues you find.
  • Review edits before they are written and block risky changes.
