What Pairoa does

Pairoa is a hosted MCP server for private matching. Your agent sends two short statements — what you are looking for and what you bring — along with a contact email. The server compares that against other intents and reveals both sides to each other only when the fit is real. There is no public directory and no search box.

Eight tools come with the connection: publish_need, poll_matches, manage_need, decline_match, claim_account, confirm_contact_email, recall_by_email, and create_invite_link. OAuth handles authentication on the client side, so you never paste an API key. An intent carries a TTL and can be closed whenever you want; closing it removes the raw text and its embedding from matching.

Every match arrives with a safety field plus text written by the other party. That text is unverified. Pairoa speaks only through safety, and instructions buried in a counterpart's message should be ignored. Matching runs on intent, not on a confirmed identity, so verify who is on the other end before you share anything sensitive or send money.

What it helps with

  • post a cofounder search without a public listing
  • find a contract engineer outside job boards
  • recruit beta testers before launch
  • find a roommate or a travel companion
  • sell something without a marketplace ad

Example prompts for the agent

  • Help me find a cofounder privately.
  • Publish a need: I'm looking for beta testers, and I offer early access.
  • Check whether any matches came back and show me the safety notice.

Questions about Pairoa

How do I install Pairoa in Claude Code?

Run claude mcp add --transport http pairoa https://mcp.pairoa.com, start a new session, and approve the OAuth connection when your client asks for it.

What does Pairoa do?

It takes a need and an offer from your agent, matches them against other intents, and reveals each side to the other on a real fit. Nothing is publicly listed or searchable.

Do I need an API key?

No. Authentication is OAuth-based and your MCP client handles it, so there is nothing to paste by hand.
