no_human — Claude Code MCP server: file tasks, check status
An MCP server that files a task with your local nohuman and reports back on it. Useful when you want to drive no_human from inside your agent.
claude mcp add no-human -- uvx no-humanWhat no_human does
It runs over stdio and exposes two tools: taskadd to file a task with your local nohuman, and task_status to check where that task stands. The server sits on top of an existing no_human install rather than bundling the engine.
It launches as uvx no-human, so uv has to be on your PATH. Without it the process never starts and your agent sees no tools at all — check that first.
Everything else lives in no_human's own config: token, first repo, and the rest go through nh init. The MCP server just moves tasks in and status out.
What it helps with
- file a no_human task without leaving the chat
- see which stage a task is stuck at
- hand a ticket to the local engine from the editor
- check a task's status without opening the board
- wire an agent to local nohuman over stdio
Example prompts for the agent
- File a no_human task: fix the failing test in
tests/test_api.py - Show me the status of the task I just created
- Add a no_human task to refactor
auth.py
