What Mob does

Mob provides long-term relationship memory to coding assistants via MCP. Instead of filling out spreadsheets, you mention details in chat. The server organizes notes, dietary habits, gift ideas, and discussion history.

You can inspect records in a web interface or automate workflows through the public API. For local control, self-hosting requires Node.js and SQLite under the Functional Source License 1.1.

An active endpoint at https://mobcrm.au/mcp or your own server is required, as the tool cannot save records without a connected backend.

What it helps with

  • track contact details and preferences directly from conversations
  • log birthdays, debt reminders, and gift ideas without spreadsheets
  • search interaction timelines across personal and professional contacts
  • schedule follow-up tasks linked to specific people

Example prompts for the agent

  • Remember that Alex has a birthday on May 14 and prefers green tea
  • Set a reminder to settle my debt with Sarah next Friday
  • What topics did we cover during my last talk with Daniel?
