mcp-pluggy — Pluggy MCP server for Claude Code
Connect an agent to Pluggy to work with bank connections, accounts, transactions, and payment intents in Open Finance Brasil. Pluggy credentials are required.
claude mcp add mcp-pluggy -e PLUGGY_CLIENT_ID=<PLUGGY_CLIENT_ID> -e PLUGGY_CLIENT_SECRET=<PLUGGY_CLIENT_SECRET> -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-pluggyWhat mcp-pluggy does
The server exposes 16 tools for finding bank connectors, creating and managing connections, and retrieving account, transaction, and identity records. Agents can also create a payment intent and check its status.
Set PLUGGY_CLIENT_ID and PLUGGY_CLIENT_SECRET to authenticate. The server obtains an API key through Pluggy’s OAuth2 client-credentials flow and uses it for later requests. Pluggy offers sandbox connectors backed by synthetic account and transaction data. This integration targets Pluggy and Open Finance Brasil, so you’ll need valid Pluggy credentials to use it.
What it helps with
- search Pluggy bank connectors by criteria
- create or revoke a bank connection
- retrieve accounts and transactions for a date range
- fetch identity details linked to a connection
- start a payment intent and check its status
Example prompts for the agent
- Find Pluggy bank connectors available in the sandbox.
- Show accounts and transactions for connection
<id>over the requested dates. - Create a payment intent and check its status.
