mcp-rapyd — Claude Code MCP server: setup
Connects Rapyd to AI coding clients for payments, payouts, refunds, and managed wallets. Useful for global collection, cash pickup, and marketplace balances.
claude mcp add --env RAPYD_ACCESS_KEY=<RAPYD_ACCESS_KEY> --env RAPYD_SECRET_KEY=<RAPYD_SECRET_KEY> --env RAPYD_ENV=<RAPYD_ENV> --transport stdio rapyd -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-rapydWhat mcp-rapyd does
mcp-rapyd exposes Rapyd operations through MCP tools. An agent can create hosted checkout pages, direct payments, refunds, and beneficiary payouts, then retrieve or cancel those records. It can also list country-specific payment and payout methods and save reusable payment methods for customers.
Wallet tools cover user wallet creation, profile updates, contact verification, wallet listing, and transfers between wallets. The server builds Rapyd request signatures and generates salt, timestamps, and idempotency values itself. Set RAPYD_ACCESS_KEY and RAPYD_SECRET_KEY before use; RAPYD_ENV selects sandbox or production, with sandbox as the default. Without the two keys, Rapyd requests cannot be signed.
What it helps with
- create a hosted checkout page
- send a payment through Rapyd
- issue a payout to a beneficiary
- refund a completed transaction
- move funds between managed wallets
Example prompts for the agent
- Create a Rapyd checkout page for the current order and return its details.
- List the payment methods available for the target country and currency.
- Create a managed wallet for this user, then transfer funds from another wallet.
