Ludo AI Game Assets — MCP server for Claude Code: sprites, 3D models
Generate game assets through MCP: sprites and animations, 3D models with rigging, video, music, and voices. Works with Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and other platforms.
claude mcp add --transport http ludo-ai-game-assets https://mcp.ludo.ai/mcpWhat Ludo AI Game Assets does
This MCP server connects to your editor and gives agents access to Ludo's full toolkit. Through the protocol, you request sprites with backgrounds and textures, convert 2D images into 3D GLB files with PBR textures, and auto-rig models for game engines. For animation, you turn static sprites into animated sheets (4 to 64 frames), transfer motion from video or use preset animations.
Several models run under the hood: hydra for general work (3 credits/sec), hydra-plus for extra detail (4 credits/sec), forge for lower cost (1.5 credits/sec), and griffin for video at 480p. The job queue is async—you submit a task, get an ID back, then poll for status or wait for completion. History persists across the API and web app, and you can cancel pending jobs to refund credits.
You need an API key from ludo.ai to start. Each platform has its own setup: Claude Code uses claude mcp add, Cursor needs a JSON config, GitHub Copilot uses a different config format. Zed and Gemini CLI also have install commands.
What it helps with
- Generate character sprites in multiple directions and art styles
- Create an animated spritesheet from a single static image
- Convert 2D artwork into a rigged 3D model for a game engine
- Generate a short video with soundtrack from a prompt
- Create voice lines, background music, or sound effects for game assets
Example prompts for the agent
- Generate pixel-art knight sprites in 8 directions with attack animation
- Convert this PNG into a GLB model with auto-rigging for Unreal Engine
- Make an animated spritesheet with 24 jump frames from the static sprite

Questions about Ludo AI Game Assets
How do I install Ludo AI Game Assets in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http ludo-ai-game-assets https://mcp.ludo.ai/mcp. For Cursor, add a JSON config with "url": "https://mcp.ludo.ai/mcp" under mcpServers. GitHub Copilot uses a similar config but with "type": "http".
What does Ludo AI Game Assets do?
It generates sprites, animations, 3D models, video, and audio for games. You can create sprites in different styles (pixel art to 3D render), convert 2D images into GLB files with textures and rigging, animate sprite sheets from static images, or transfer motion from video.
What models are available and how do they differ?
Choose from hydra (general-purpose, 3 credits/sec), hydra-plus (better details, slower), forge (budget-friendly, 1.5 credits/sec), and griffin for video at 480p. The right model depends on your task and quality needs—the server's documentation explains which suits each job.
