listingsAPI MCP — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
A remote MCP server for updating business listings, tracking customer reviews, and pulling search performance metrics across directories directly inside your AI client.
claude mcp add --transport http listingsapi-mcp https://listingsapi.com/mcpWhat listingsAPI MCP does
This server hooks your coding assistant directly into the Listings API platform. You can query store locations, verify operating hours, find duplicate directory entries, and read inbound customer reviews from connected maps and search engines without opening separate dashboards.
Everything runs remotely via Streamable HTTP at https://listingsapi.com/mcp, so you do not have to install packages or build local containers. Authentication works through browser-based OAuth or an API key header. Destructive actions, including location archiving or post deletion, are unavailable through the tool interface.
What it helps with
- update location profiles and hours across search directories
- detect and suppress duplicate listings across mapping platforms
- inspect customer reviews and publish replies directly from chat
- gather search analytics like phone calls and direction requests
Example prompts for the agent
- Show all reviews rated below three stars received in the past week across all stores
- Find duplicate directory entries for our Austin branch and mark them for suppression
- Compare directions requests and calls for the top branches between this month and last
