JobsPipe — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Remote MCP endpoint aggregating listings from 30+ job boards and ATS platforms. Enables coding agents to query normalized vacancies and inspect company tech stacks.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.jobspipe.dev/mcpWhat JobsPipe does
JobsPipe connects AI assistants to active employment feeds compiled from external recruiting platforms and public labor boards. The service runs remotely over HTTP. Because nothing executes on your machine, there are no dependencies to maintain. Vacancies follow a unified data model with filters for salary, technical skills, and remote options.
The toolset includes search and search_jobs for finding roles, while fetch retrieves full vacancy text by ID. Another tool, detect_company_tech_stack, inspects technologies on an employer domain, and create_signal triggers notifications via webhooks or Slack when new matches appear.
Searches consume credit allowances tied to your account plan. Authentication relies on dynamic OAuth 2.0 in supported editors or a Bearer token in script headers. Without an account, only the reduced testing endpoint operates.
What it helps with
- search active vacancies filtered by salary, remote policy, and tech stack
- inspect the technologies deployed on an employer domain
- retrieve the full text of a job posting by its identifier
- create automated job match notifications delivered to Slack or webhooks
Example prompts for the agent
- Find remote staff backend roles requiring Go and Kubernetes with salary above 150k
- Detect what software stack is running on
example.com - Create an alert for new senior TypeScript positions that offer visa sponsorship
