What Headcount Labs does

Headcount Labs links your AI agent to an index of active job listings gathered directly from employer career portals and ATS platforms like Workday, Lever, and Greenhouse. The system consolidates duplicate postings into a single record while preserving source links to original application pages.

You do not need to compile or run local code. The service operates as a hosted remote endpoint using Streamable HTTP transport. The unauthenticated public endpoint provides 6 read-only tools returning up to 250 matches per query, while the authenticated version exposes 26 tools with file exports and change tracking.

Every tool operates strictly in read-only mode, so the server can query market openings but cannot submit job applications or message recruiters.

What it helps with

  • filter job openings by compensation, location, and remote arrangement
  • aggregate hiring volumes across specific companies
  • retrieve clean job records with verified links to original career boards
  • pull compensation baselines and market distribution stats

Example prompts for the agent

  • Find remote backend engineering roles that list a salary range.
  • Count all active software engineering positions across companies using Greenhouse.
  • Inspect the full posting details and apply link for job ID 12345.
