ibara — Claude Code MCP server: remote computer control for agents
Gives your agent control of a spare Omarchy computer: desktop, browser, keyboard and mouse. You work on your machine, the agent works on the spare.
Open on GitHubWhat ibara does
ibara runs in the Omarchy bar and connects your machines over Tailscale. The agent opens a browser on the spare, clicks through interfaces, takes screenshots and returns results. You see the spare's screen in the console, can take control anytime or drop files onto its card.
Requires two x86_64 machines running Omarchy with the Hyprland desktop, a Tailscale account signed in on both, and Chrome on the spare. A virtual machine works. No other platform is supported. The three 0.3.1-1 packages total about 52.3 MB excluding dependencies; the installer handles those.
Sending, deleting and access changes require approval by default, but ibara cannot predict what every command or click will do. Agents are not sandboxed. Give access only to computers you trust the agent with.
What it helps with
- Test a web app with real mouse and keyboard, get screenshots of failures
- Run an agent task on a second computer while you work on your main one
- Open a document on the spare, edit it, save and verify the saved content
- Scrape data from a page and return a report or file
Example prompts for the agent
- Open
https://ibara.app/practiceon spare-mini, check the Settings menu with the mouse, take a screenshot with the menu open and tell me which checks passed - List my ibara computers
- Collect information from this page, return a report and release the computer when done

What does ibara do?
Gives an agent control of a spare Omarchy computer: opens the browser, clicks interfaces, types text, takes screenshots. Machines connect through Tailscale; you watch the spare's screen in the console and can take control back.
What does ibara require?
Two x86_64 machines running Omarchy with the Hyprland desktop, a Tailscale account on both, sudo access, an MCP-capable agent, and Chrome on the spare for browser tasks. A VM works; the spare does not need a connected monitor or mouse.
