F1Laps — Claude Code MCP server: lap data and setup
Connect an F1Laps account so an assistant can inspect lap times, telemetry, setups, and leaderboard comparisons. Useful for reviewing race progress and individual laps.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://www.f1laps.com/mcpWhat F1Laps does
The server lets an assistant search saved laps by speed or telemetry availability, summarize best times across tracks, and compare a result with a personal record or a public leaderboard entry. It can also check a saved setup against community results and estimate AI difficulty from a lap time.
Access is read-only: laps, sessions, seasons, and setups cannot be changed or removed. Detailed telemetry requires a Champion plan, an active Champion trial, or qualifying legacy access; summaries and setup features work without it. No separate API key is needed. Sign in to F1Laps and approve access in the client.
What it helps with
- find the quickest lap on a track
- compare a run with a personal best
- review progress across tracks
- check a saved setup against community results
- estimate AI difficulty from a lap time
Example prompts for the agent
- Compare my latest Monaco lap with my personal record.
- Show my best times by track and point out where I improved.
- Check my setup against community results for this track.
