DSAIL — Claude Code MCP server: rules and setup
DSAIL turns written policies into checks that a program can run consistently. Use it when document claims must be evaluated against explicit rules.
claude mcp add --transport http dsail https://agents.jaxon.ai/mcpWhat DSAIL does
DSAIL compiles a policy into a formal ruleset identified by a content hash. Your model extracts claim values, while the service evaluates each assertion and returns TRUE, FALSE, UNKNOWN, or AMBIGUOUS. Each result includes the assertion name and the rule text that produced it.
The hosted service does not receive the source document or call a language model. It creates extraction prompts, a claim schema, and validation rules for your own model to use. The MCP proxy adds a review-opening tool, while the package provides dsail.Client, dsail mcp, dsail serve, and dsail init. The local package requires Python 3.10 or newer.
What it helps with
- compile a written policy into formal rules
- check document claims against those rules
- show which rule produced each result
- keep uncertain claims separate from false ones
- let your application decide what
FALSEmeans
Example prompts for the agent
- Compile the policy in
policies/expenses.dsail, then show the review a person would approve. - Extract claims from the document, check them against
policies/expenses.dsail, and write the values toclaims.json. - Open the review UI for the compiled policy and return its link.
