Devart MCP Server for SQLite — Claude Code MCP server
Connects an AI client to SQLite and turns natural-language requests into database queries. Choose ADO.NET or ODBC for connectivity.
Open on GitHubWhat Devart MCP Server for SQLite (ADO.NET) does
The server passes requests from an AI client to a SQLite database: it converts natural-language prompts into structured queries, runs them through a Devart driver, then returns the results. Connections can use ADO.NET or ODBC, with stdio or http as the transport.
Manual builds require the .NET 8 SDK. The ADO.NET project restores Devart dotConnect for SQLite through NuGet; the ODBC route requires a separate Devart ODBC Driver for SQLite installation. Set the connection in mcpserver.json, using an ADO.NET connection string or an ODBC DSN or connection string. For ODBC, the build target must match the data source bitness. With stdio, the AI client starts the server; with http, start it separately.
What it helps with
- retrieve SQLite rows from a natural-language request
- turn a prompt into a structured database query
- return SQLite results to an AI client for analysis
- connect SQLite through ADO.NET or ODBC
Example prompts for the agent
- Find SQLite records matching this request and show the results.
- Count the rows in each category in the SQLite database.
- Compare records in this SQLite database using these conditions.

Questions about Devart MCP Server for SQLite (ADO.NET)
How do I install Devart MCP Server for SQLite in Claude Code?
Install Devart ODBC Driver for SQLite and Devart MCP Server for SQLite, then configure the data connection and integration. For a manual ADO.NET build, install the .NET 8 SDK and run dotnet publish Devart.AI.McpServer.AdoNet/Devart.AI.McpServer.AdoNet.Sqlite/Devart.AI.McpServer.AdoNet.Sqlite.csproj -c ReleaseSqlite /p:TargetFramework=net8.0; then add the connection to mcpserver.json.
What does Devart MCP Server for SQLite do?
It connects an AI client to SQLite, converts natural-language requests into structured database queries, and returns the results to the client.
What do I need for an ODBC build?
You need the .NET 8 SDK and Devart ODBC Driver for SQLite. Match the build target bitness to the data source.
