Devart MCP Server for Zoho CRM (ADO.NET) — Claude Code MCP server
An MCP server that gives AI clients schema-aware read and write access to Zoho CRM through the Devart dotConnect ADO.NET provider.
Open on GitHubWhat Devart MCP Server for Zoho CRM (ADO.NET) does
The server sits between your AI client and Zoho CRM. You ask a question in plain words, it turns that into a structured query, runs it through Devart drivers and hands back a clean result. Everything runs inside your own environment.
You build it from source, and .NET 8 SDK is required. With the ADO.NET project the Devart dotConnect for Zoho CRM package is restored from NuGet during the build; the ODBC route needs the Devart ODBC Driver for Zoho CRM downloaded and installed by hand. Clone the repository, publish the project you need with dotnet publish, then drop an mcpserver.json next to the built executable.
That config holds either a ConnectionString with the authentication type, domain and license key, or a DsnName for ODBC. Transport goes in ProtocolType — stdio or http. Under http you start the server yourself, for example Devart.AI.McpServer.AdoNet.ZohoCrm.exe run my_zohocrm; under stdio the client launches it. No Devart license key means no connection.
What it helps with
- pull Zoho CRM deals matching a condition without a full CSV export
- get a lead summary inside the chat
- write records back into the CRM from a script
- inspect Zoho CRM module schemas before querying
- swap recurring manual exports for queries
Example prompts for the agent
- List every deal in Zoho CRM closed this quarter
- Add a Zoho CRM contact using the email in this file
- What fields does the Leads module in Zoho CRM have?

Questions about Devart MCP Server for Zoho CRM (ADO.NET)
How do I install Devart MCP Server for Zoho CRM (ADO.NET) in Claude Code?
There is no install command: you build the server from source. Install the .NET 8 SDK, then run git clone https://github.com/devart-ai-connectivity/devart-mcp-server-zoho-crm.git, change into the directory and publish with `dotnet publish Devart.AI.McpServer.AdoNet/Devart.AI.McpServer.AdoNet.ZohoCrm/Devart.AI.McpServer.AdoNet.ZohoCrm.csproj -c ReleaseZohoCrm /p:TargetFramework=net8.0. After the build, create mcpserver.json` beside the executable and describe the connection there.
What does this MCP server do?
It lets an AI client read and write Zoho CRM data through Devart dotConnect ADO.NET. Natural-language requests become structured queries that the Devart driver executes.
How do the ADO.NET and ODBC builds differ?
The ADO.NET build pulls the Devart dotConnect for Zoho CRM package from NuGet automatically. The ODBC build needs the Devart ODBC Driver for Zoho CRM installed manually, and the target bitness has to match your data source.
