Devart MCP Server for Salesforce — Claude Code MCP Server
Connects AI coding assistants to Salesforce via ADO.NET or ODBC, letting you query CRM records using conversational prompts.
Open on GitHubWhat Devart MCP Server for Salesforce (ADO.NET) does
The server translates conversational instructions into database calls against Salesforce and passes clean results back to your assistant. You can build it around Devart dotConnect ADO.NET or use Devart ODBC Driver. Communication with client apps works over stdio or http.
Building the binary requires .NET 8 SDK. Without this SDK installed on your machine, compilation fails immediately. Connection parameters, credentials, and transport settings live in a local mcpserver.json file where you define target strings or DSN names.
What it helps with
- Query Salesforce CRM objects without manual exports or dashboards
- Inspect schema definitions and field layouts via plain-language prompts
- Feed live CRM records directly into coding assistant sessions
Example prompts for the agent
- List all closed-won opportunities created this month in Salesforce
- Show account details and related contacts for Acme Corp
- Retrieve recent high-priority support cases from Salesforce

Questions about Devart MCP Server for Salesforce (ADO.NET)
How to install Devart MCP Server for Salesforce in Claude Code?
Clone the source via git clone https://github.com/devart-ai-connectivity/devart-mcp-server-salesforce.git, compile it with `dotnet publish Devart.AI.McpServer.AdoNet/Devart.AI.McpServer.AdoNet.Salesforce/Devart.AI.McpServer.AdoNet.Salesforce.csproj -c ReleaseSalesforce /p:TargetFramework=net8.0, and place your connection details into an mcpserver.json` file next to the binary.
What transport protocols can this server use?
It supports both stdio and http. When using stdio, the AI client runs the executable automatically, while http requires configuring HttpPort and running the server command manually.
What prerequisites are needed before building?
You need .NET 8 SDK installed. For ODBC setups, install Devart ODBC Driver for Salesforce matching your system bitness; ADO.NET packages download automatically through NuGet.
