What CoinPaprika does

This integration connects coding agents to CoinPaprika data endpoints. It supplies thirty functions covering live market valuations, trade pairs across 350+ exchanges, and contract addresses across multiple networks. You can run it locally with npx or point your client directly at https://mcp.coinpaprika.com/streamable-http.

General queries do not need an account. You can pull 24-hour metrics, inspect token details, and calculate pair exchanges immediately.

Without a paid credential in COINPAPRIKA_API_KEY, historical OHLCV endpoints fail. The server will decline the request and instruct you to upgrade.

What it helps with

  • fetch spot rates and trading volume for a token
  • convert currency values between fiat and crypto
  • inspect listed pairs across 350+ exchanges
  • resolve token smart contracts across blockchains
  • pull ongoing daily OHLCV candles

Example prompts for the agent

  • Check the current price and market cap for BTC.
  • Convert 0.5 BTC into USD at current rates.
  • Which exchanges currently list trading pairs for SOL?
