What Clera does

Clera links your assistant to a talent network of over 210,000 vetted candidates. You can ask the model to look up engineers with specific tech stacks, inspect tailored recommendations, or draft job descriptions. When you want to reach out, the agent triggers an intro request, and replies arrive back in your conversation thread.

The tool connects to a hosted remote endpoint at https://mcp.getclera.com over streamable HTTP. Candidate details remain hidden until an introduction takes place. Read actions execute immediately, while write operations — such as sending intros or modifying listings — prompt for user confirmation. You need a Clera company account with OAuth 2.1 authentication to use the service.

What it helps with

  • source engineers matching specific languages and database skills
  • inspect recommended profiles for an open technical position
  • draft a job description in collaboration with the agent
  • submit introduction requests to vetted candidates

Example prompts for the agent

  • Find backend engineers with Go and Postgres experience in Europe.
  • Show me the candidates shortlisted for our lead developer role.
  • Send an intro request to the top two candidates from this search.
