BookingKoala by Cotlet — Claude Code MCP server: setup guide
Connects AI assistants to BookingKoala store data, letting agents inspect bookings, providers, and customer invoices through a local session.
claude mcp add --transport http bookingkoala https://cotlet.dev/mcp/v1/bookingkoala/connectWhat BookingKoala by Cotlet does
BookingKoala lacks an open public API. This integration solves that restriction by tapping into your active browser session. It reads cookies from Google Chrome through DevTools and sends requests via curl_cffi to match browser traffic. The setup provides 17 tools covering customer profiles, quotes, charges, and provider rosters.
You need Python 3.11+ and Google Chrome 144 or newer with remote debugging enabled. Your store account permissions directly limit what the tools can do. The local session lasts up to 30 days before requiring a refresh. Note that this open repository is released exclusively for noncommercial use.
What it helps with
- retrieve unassigned or upcoming store bookings
- inspect customer records and draft quotes
- check charge history and store invoice balances
- view provider details and team allocations
Example prompts for the agent
- List all unassigned bookings for this week
- Find the customer record and show their unpaid invoices
- Check provider team schedules for tomorrow
