Amazon.in MCP Server — Claude Code MCP server
Searches Amazon.in, compares in-stock offers, returns product details, and builds Keepa price-history links. Useful for shopping requests inside an MCP client.
claude mcp add --env AMAZON_IN_AFFILIATE_TAG=<AMAZON_IN_AFFILIATE_TAG> --transport stdio amazonin-mcp-server -- npx -y amazon-in-mcp-serverWhat Amazon.in MCP Server does
Amazon.in MCP Server exposes three tools: product search, detail lookup by ASIN or URL, and Keepa history-link generation. Search results include ranked listings, the cheapest available option, and a value pick based on rating, review count, and price.
It runs locally over stdio, reads Amazon.in HTML, and needs no API key or account. Page caching, retries, and an optional HTTP/HTTPS proxy are available through AMAZON_IN_PROXY. Image input is deliberately unsupported, so the client must turn an image into product keywords first.
In Claude Code, install it with claude mcp add amazon-in-mcp-server -- npx -y amazon-in-mcp-server, then restart the MCP client. Bot-check pages can still make a request fail, which matters during repeated use.
What it helps with
- search Amazon.in within a price limit
- find the cheapest item currently in stock
- rank offers by price, rating, and reviews
- inspect a product from an ASIN or URL
- open a Keepa price-history chart
Example prompts for the agent
- Find a 1TB external SSD on Amazon.in below ₹10,000 and choose the best-value option.
- Check this Amazon.in ASIN and return its price, discount, rating, seller, and stock status.
- Create a Keepa price-history link for this Amazon.in product.
