idealo MCP Server gives an AI assistant access to product search, offer comparison, and price analysis. It can filter searches by category, brand, price, and availability, then retrieve product details, shop offers, delivery terms, payment methods, reviews, and specifications. The tools pass an encrypted productRef from search results into later requests.
The connection uses Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.0, Dynamic Client Registration, and PKCE. Trial users authenticate in a browser without setting client_id or client_secret. Supported country codes are DE, AT, GB, FR, IT, and ES; another code falls back to Germany. Amazon, eBay, and Otto offers are removed across all tiers, so those shops will not appear in comparisons.
