AlgoVault — Claude Code MCP server: crypto trade calls
One MCP call returns a BUY, SELL or HOLD verdict with a confidence score and the detected market regime for major crypto perpetuals.
claude mcp add --transport http crypto-quant-signal-mcp https://api.algovault.com/mcpWhat AlgoVault — Crypto Quant Trade Calls does
The server speaks Streamable HTTP at https://api.algovault.com/mcp, and you can start without an API key: 200 calls a month free, 100 a day. The get_trade_call tool hands back a finished verdict — direction, confidence, and the current regime (trending, ranging or volatile) — rather than a pile of raw indicators. Momentum, trend structure, derivatives positioning, open interest and volume get fused into a single weighted call.
Directional calls only fire once conviction clears the threshold, so roughly 99% of evaluations come back HOLD. Worth knowing if you expect a trade idea on every request. Every response carries an _algovault envelope with the server version, the tool name, your quota and a compatible_with list; that list is empty today, since no companion package exists yet.
For a local run, use npx -y crypto-quant-signal-mcp. On npm 12+ be careful: npm v12 turns off dependency install scripts by default, and the optional local SQLite mode relies on the native better-sqlite3 module. Without npm approve-scripts (or npm install --allow-scripts) it will not build. The hosted HTTP transport needs no local build.
What it helps with
- get a finished verdict on BTC or ETH instead of reading eight indicators
- check the current market regime before entering a trade
- compare signal confidence across several coins at once
- wire a quant analyst into an agent without writing code
- audit past signals through on-chain Merkle batches
Example prompts for the agent
- What's the call on BTC 1h — buy, sell or hold?
- Show the regime and confidence for SOL on 15m
