0xArchive Market Data — Claude Code MCP server for Hyperliquid feeds
Gives your agent order books, trades, candles, funding and open interest from Hyperliquid and Lighter. Handy when you want a market read inside the chat.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcpWhat 0xArchive Market Data does
This is a remote HTTP MCP server at https://mcp.0xarchive.io/mcp. You point a client at that URL and then sign in to your 0xArchive account through OAuth. The first prompt asks for mcp:market.read; approve mcp:webhooks.read and mcp:webhooks.write too if you plan to touch webhooks. There is no API key to paste and no local process to start.
Every market tool is read-only: current and past order books, trades, candles, funding rates, open interest, plus data coverage across venues. Webhook control sits behind its own scopes, so an agent cannot create or change hooks unless you allowed that. Poking at live markets from a chat window stops being a copy-paste chore.
Setup differs by client. Claude takes one command plus /mcp to authenticate; Cursor and GitHub Copilot want a JSON entry in .cursor/mcp.json or .vscode/mcp.json. Skip the browser sign-in and the server stays unauthenticated, which means no tools appear.
What it helps with
- pull an order book snapshot before sizing a trade
- fetch a run of candles for one ticker
- check funding and open interest on a contract
- confirm data coverage before backtesting
- wire a webhook to a market change
Example prompts for the agent
- Give me a BTC summary on Hyperliquid: book, funding and open interest.
- Show hourly ETH candles on Lighter for the last session.
- Set a webhook that fires when funding changes on this contract.
