What agent-config does

The server exposes an organized catalog of development standards: 301 skills, 211 commands, 122 rules, and 29 personas. Instead of flooding LLM context with hundreds of artifacts, a built-in router pulls only relevant guidelines matching current intent. It compiles configs across 20 host agents, including Claude Code and Cursor.

Pre-packaged subagents handle targeted tasks. For instance, production-validator inspects code branches in read-only mode to find unresolved mocks before shipping.

Core execution avoids background daemons and external state databases. Embedded engines terminate immediately after completing the command.

What it helps with

  • Restrict agent context to task-relevant skills
  • Scan code branches for leftover mocks before shipping
  • Apply governed development rules across multiple coding assistants
  • Run standardized planning and verification workflows via /work

Example prompts for the agent

  • /work "set up basic API authentication"
  • @production-validator check this branch is actually done
  • Find the relevant skill in agent-config to refactor the database schema
