Opened an account on 10 August 2026 and initially tried to deposit £2,000, only to be told that the maximum deposit was £1,200.The online live chat experience was atrocious — extremely poor, unprofessional and utterly unhelpful. I also contacted customer support by email and, after two days, was asked to provide a payslip, employment details, etc. I supplied everything almost immediately.A further two days later, I was informed that my limits had been increased to £1,350. Strangely, however, the limits displayed on my account still show £2,500 daily, £5,000 weekly and £7,000 monthly. This makes absolutely no sense.Another major issue is the betting limits. After just six bets — three wins and three losses (I am certainly not a professional bettor) — my maximum stake was restricted to £42.84. Even more strangely, this appeared to be a fixed maximum stake regardless of the odds. Whether the odds were 2.40 or 5.50, the maximum stake remained £42.84. The following day, it was reduced again, this time to £42.73. Why?The odds are another significant problem. In my experience, they are poor around 95% of the time. I particularly like betting on half-time/full-time football goals, but the odds often stop increasing once they reach around 3.00–4.00, rather than improving as you get closer to half-time or full-time.The way the odds change is also extremely frustrating. When odds increase, they can instantly decrease again before you have any realistic opportunity to place a bet. For example, odds might move from 2.20 to 2.25 for a split second — not enough time to get a bet on — before dropping to 2.10, then gradually returning to 2.20 and eventually 2.25.If you don't accept automatic odds changes, it can take minutes to get a bet on because the odds constantly change. If you do accept the automatic change, you can end up accepting odds significantly lower than those you thought you were betting at.All in all, I think the site is poor. The customer service has been extremely disappointing, and the apparent lack of effective management is equally concerning. Taking four days to assess a single payslip is simply unacceptable.You would think senior management would take the large amount of negative feedback seriously and actually do something about it. I certainly wish I had read the reviews before opening an account. Looking at the reviews for August 2026, there was one 2-star review and the rest were 1-star. I think that says a lot.Based on my experience so far, I would not recommend this site.

I have never left a TrustPilot review in my life - however BetWay are so scummy I am inclined to do it. Joined as they advertised free bet new customer offer. Deposit £20 and they don’t honour the free bets - took me ages to get a response that they decided I’m not eligible and didn’t give me any reason. Recently joined Betway. Was in the middle of playing a game when a message came up to say I have been banned and my account will be closed. I spoke to someone on the chat who could not explain why. I had some funds left in my account and was told that they would be keeping them and not withdrawing to me! Do not trust this site it’s a scam hence all the other bad reviews.
