The 9th Federal Civil Court of São Paulo has granted Stake Brasil a partial preliminary injunction against Provisional Measure 1,394/2026, allowing the operator to continue offering fixed-odds betting in Brazil until 25 October 2026.
Under the ruling, the domain stake.bet.br cannot be blocked or redirected, and the operator is protected from sanctions as long as it complies with court-imposed conditions. Stake Brasil says it is the first licensed operator in the country to secure such an injunction.
The company views the decision as a signal for operators that have met regulatory requirements. Stake Brasil obtained authorisation, paid the licensing fee and committed capital to the regulated market, which the court found sufficient to support its legal position.
The operator argues the ruling strengthens legal certainty. Stake Brasil continues to meet the obligations under the Provisional Measure and says it remains committed to both executive and judicial requirements, emphasising that transparent rules and state oversight are necessary for responsible gaming.
