Sweepstakes— what it means in affiliate marketing

Prize-draw offers: the user leaves contact details for a chance to win.

Conversion is cheap because the ask is small, and lead value depends entirely on what happens to the data afterwards. Prize claims and entry terms are what regulators look at.

Term Definition
Single opt-in A lead counted as soon as the form is submitted, with no confirmation step.
Double opt-in A lead that is only counted once the user confirms it, usually through an emailed or texted link.
CC submit A payout model where the conversion counts once the user has entered card details, with no charge yet taken.
