BIN— what it means in affiliate marketing
The first six to eight digits of a card number, identifying the issuing bank, country and card type.
Buyers track BINs because approval rates differ sharply between issuers, and processors use them to route and to price risk. A BIN whose country disagrees with the billing geo is a standard decline reason.
