Affiliate laundering— what it means in affiliate marketing
Passing fraudulent traffic through a chain of intermediaries so its origin cannot be traced back.
Each hop strips a layer of attribution data, and the last network in the chain is the one that gets paid. It is the reason advertisers insist on knowing the actual traffic source rather than the immediate supplier.
