Bot— what it means in affiliate marketing
A program that performs actions automatically: clicks, registrations, views, form fills.
Not all of it is fraud — crawlers and monitoring tools are bots too, and they appear in every traffic report. The distinction that matters commercially is whether the bot is being passed off as a user.
