We read the registries of four states — New Jersey (DGE), Pennsylvania (PGCB), Michigan (MGCB) and Delaware (Delaware Lottery). Online casino is legal in seven, so the absence of a brand from our table does not mean it lacks a licence elsewhere. What is legal in which state — on the page gambling legality in the USA.

Frequent questions
They are different permits from different registers. The PGCB in Pennsylvania keeps separate lists for interactive gaming and online sports wagering, and a brand can sit in one while missing from the other. Online betting is allowed in far more states than online casino.
14 of 167 brands with US data. The rest have no entry in the NJ DGE, PGCB, MGCB or Delaware Lottery registers — which does not mean they hold no licence somewhere else.
State regulators; there is no federal gambling regulator. So «legal in the US» is a question without one answer, and it is settled state by state. The state legality map has the full breakdown.
We have no reviews of our own, and review sites rate the same brand anywhere from 1.7 to 4.7 out of 5 — the spread depends on who is counting. We show register entries, complaint counts and the dates we checked, and leave the conclusion to the reader.
The total volume of branded search queries from the US for June 2026 — a modelled estimate, not revenue and not a player count. For brands whose name is an ordinary word the US share is not shown at all: that volume is mixed with searches that have nothing to do with gambling.
