What defi-protocol-templates does

The skill includes example contracts for staking with reward distribution and an AMM with liquidity provision, swaps, and provider shares. Its description also lists templates for governance token systems and flash loan integration.

The staking example imports OpenZeppelin ERC-20 and reentrancy protection components. These are starting templates, so review the contract logic against your project before deployment. Install the skill when you are building DeFi contracts in Solidity; it is outside the scope of unrelated projects.

What it helps with

  • build a staking contract that distributes rewards
  • add an AMM for liquidity and token swaps
  • draft a governance token system
  • integrate flash loan functionality

Example prompts for the agent

  • Create a staking contract with reward distribution using defi-protocol-templates.
  • Add an AMM with liquidity deposits and withdrawals to this project.
  • Draft a DeFi governance template and identify what needs adapting.

Questions about defi-protocol-templates

How do I install defi-protocol-templates in Claude Code?

Run npx skills add wshobson/agents --skill defi-protocol-templates -a claude-code. The skill file is at ~/.claude/skills/defi-protocol-templates/SKILL.md.

What does defi-protocol-templates do?

It provides Solidity examples for staking, AMMs, governance token systems, and flash loans. The staking example tracks user rewards, while the AMM supports liquidity and swaps.

Which libraries do the templates use?

The staking contract imports IERC20, ReentrancyGuard, and Ownable from OpenZeppelin. The AMM example uses IERC20.
